Our Background

RTID by Ludo® was created on a foundation of years of experience within design and textile industries. I, Eva, the Founder, have previously worked with a large humanitarian organisation in the department that takes care of asylum seeking unaccompanied refugee children and youngsters, as well as doing private projects for the benefit of immigrant and refugee women.

These experiences have inspired me to continue doing charitable work, particularly for people falling into those categories. I’ve previously lived in Thailand, Asia for several years. There, I have gotten to meet people and families living on the edge of life. Seeing what that does to children and their families has changed my perspective on our world, and how I believe we should help those who are in need.

So, what is there to do about it? For starters, supporting education of the children and youngsters to help them make a better life for themselves and their families. Support said parents in getting jobs at companies that provide proper salaries, and/or, if possible, helping the parents get more knowledge or education.

We at RTID by Ludo® are lucky to work with a great team of skilled handicraft people, and are excited to develop and evolve our Co-Operation and knowledge within related subjects.

Eva, the Founder, CEO, Designer and All-Hands-On of RTID by Ludo®:

My role in the company is mixed. The creative processes, from designing products, making patterns, deciding colour combinations, yarn and all the further parts of the process until the final production is my main focus as for coordinating and cooperation with crafts people. The development of RTID by Ludo® from idea, startup and all other thinkable business-related tasks has been and is very much also on my plate, so I am All-Hands-On.

There are different levels and involvement with other people, that has helped out during the startup and onwards. I couldn’t have done the journey up till now without the support. For that, I am heartfelt grateful. The future will also include more connections, networking and cooperation to explore challenges and development.
